Medway Youth Recorder Consort
The Medway Youth Recorder Consort offers a chance for keen young recorder players to come together and play in an ensemble on a weekly basis.
The consort rehearses on Saturday mornings during term time from
09:30 - 10:15 at St Thomas of Canterbury RCP School, Romany Road, Rainham, ME8 6JH. Members will also be able to join in with other groups at the centre.
Entry requirements: We are looking for anyone in Year 5 and above who can play at least from bottom C to the C an octave above. We are very keen to welcome all recorder types: descants, trebles, tenors, basses. Reading music would be desirable, but not essential!
Open Rehearsals: Medway Youth Recorder Consort has several open rehearsals throughout the year. If you are interested in joining please come along to an open rehearsal and see how you get on!
