MMA Music Centre

St.Thomas of Canterbury Music Centre provides the ideal opportunity for young musicians to improve general musicianship and learn how to play well in an ensemble in a relaxed and friendly environment!

The Music Centre is held every Saturday morning during term time between 9.30am and 12.55pm at St. Thomas of Canterbury RCP  School, Romany Road, Rainham, Kent, ME8 6JH.

We run a diverse selection of groups so there is plenty to get involved in, whether you are a beginner or an advanced musician. For a full list of the sessions we run each week please visit Music Centre Groups.

Membership to the Music Centre costs £15 per student per year, payable either in full or in three installments. Your first session is free!

Medway Music Association is passionate about making music available to all young people in Medway and that no one is excluded on financial grounds. If the membership fee is prohibitive, please write a letter explaining your situation marked for the attention of The Director, Medway Music Association, in order to be considered for bursary support for the Music School.  All will be considered on a case by case basis.

We also run two non-residential holiday courses at the Music Centre: a three-day Easter Music School in April and a four-day Summer Music School in July. To find out more please visit Holiday Courses.

The Music Centre is open to all children and young people in Medway aged 7 - 18. We ask that parents of any interested students aged younger than 7 contact us for advice in advance of application.
